We’re excited to share that NICCA is beginning to plan a Tribal Child Care Study Tour in Oklahoma—and we want your input as we shape this experience!

We’ve been inspired by the past visits we’ve done in Oklahoma, where we had the

opportunity to connect with powerful Tribal early childhood programs, tour child care centers, and learn from on-the-ground leaders doing incredible work for Native children and families. Now we want to share this experience with you all —this time with even more collaboration, learning, and fun.

This Tribal Child Care Study Tour would include:

  • Site visits to Tribal child care programs in Oklahoma

  • A small group dinner to kick things off and build connections

  • Educational opportunities like presentations or lunch discussion

  • Plenty of time for networking, reflection, and exploring

  • Considerations for lodging, transportation, and meals
