How do I pay for my event registration?

We offer multiple payment options to accommodate Tribal programs, organizations, and individuals:

Credit or debit card
PayPal (if preferred)
Check
Purchase Order (PO)

You may select your preferred payment method during the registration process.

Question 2

Can I send a check to pay my registration fees?

Accepted Answer

Yes. All payments must be received within 30 days of registration. Registrations not paid within this timeframe will be automatically canceled, and individuals must re-register at the current rate.

How do we register using a Tribal Purchase Order (PO)?

Accepted Answer

If your Tribe or organization pays by purchase order, please follow these steps:

Complete the event registration form.
Select “Pay by Check” as your payment method.
Once your registration is submitted, you will automatically receive an emailed invoice to the email you provided.
Use this invoice to generate and process your internal purchase order.
Submit the approved purchase order to NICCA along with payment according to your Tribe’s process.

Your registration will be confirmed once payment is received. Payment is due within 30 days of registration.

If your Tribe requires specific language, vendor forms, or W-9 documentation to process payment, please contact us and we will provide the necessary materials.

Question 4

Why do I select “Pay by Check” if I am using a Purchase Order?

Selecting “Pay by Check” allows our system to generate an invoice without requiring immediate online payment. That invoice can then be used to initiate your internal purchase order process.

Does NICCA require payment before the event?

Accepted Answer

Yes.

Full payment must be received prior to the event start date and by the published payment deadline. This policy ensures that NICCA can meet venue contracts, confirm attendance, and responsibly steward event resources.

Registrations that remain unpaid past the deadline may be subject to cancellation to ensure space availability for other Tribal programs.

Can I cancel my registration?

NICCA's cancellation and refund policy can be found online at https://www.nicca.us/event-policies. Please review policies based on your ticket attendance for an in-person event or a virtual event as policies differ.All cancellations requests must include the reason for cancellation and be submitted in writing to support@nicca.us.

Can I transfer my registration to someone else?

Accepted Answer

Yes, substitutions are allowed at any time but must be submitted in writing. Please include the original registrant’s name and the name of the substitute, and send your request to support@nicca.us.

What does my registration include?

Accepted Answer

General registration includes access to all keynotes, breakout sessions, general assemblies, and open special events. Pre-conference trainings and ticketed events may require additional registration.

Is there a hotel block or conference rate?

In-person events will typically have a room block and conference rate. Conference hotel and booking information will be available each event's website.

Will meals be provided during the conference?

Some meals may be included in special events. Please check the agenda and event materials for specific meal details.

Can I attend cultural experiences or receptions?

Accepted Answer

Yes! All registered attendees are invited to open special events. Some experiences, like the Member VIP Reception, are exclusive to NICCA members.

Traveling with family or friends? Some events will have options to purchase additional tickets for extra guests.
