The Annie E. Casey Foundation Evaluation Training Pipeline Program - Register Today!

The Annie E. Casey Foundation is excited to reveal its new online evaluation training pipeline program, Leaders in Equitable Evaluation and Diversity (LEEAD). LEEAD is based on the fundamental belief that increasing diversity in the field of research and evaluation improves our knowledge base and makes for better science and social innovation. We seek to build the capacity of underrepresented minority (URM) evaluators who will lead the sector in culturally responsive and high-quality evaluations.

Launching in January 2016, LEEAD is a unique, rigorous nine-month program that integrates professional development; online-based evaluation coursework through University of Wisconsin-Stout; mentorship from senior-level evaluation experts; and a culminating practicum experience at a reputable research firm, foundation, think tank, government agency or university. The program welcomes applications from talented, mid-career URM scholars who aspire to become leaders in the field of evaluation and are searching for a unique opportunity to develop their skills through instruction, coaching and practicum training. Applicants should have 5-7 years of post-doctoral experience in research and/or evaluation in criminal justice, psychology, public policy, public health, mental health, social psychology, sociology, economics, social work or related fields.

Information on the program and a link to the application can be found here: LEEAD Info and Application. Applications are due before 11:59 PM ET Thursday, September 24, 2015.

We will also be hosting an informational webinar about LEEAD for interested applicants on

Monday, August 31, 2015 from 1:00-2:30 PM ET. Applicants are required to attend the informational webinar. Pre-register here: LEEAD Informational Webinar Registration.

If you have any questions about the program, please send your inquiry to LEEAD_Application2015@SP.AECF.ORG with the subject line "Question". We look forward to your interest and recruiting a cohort of diverse leaders in equitable evaluation!
