The McCormick Institute's Leadership Connections conference features interactive sessions and captivating keynote speakers specifically for leaders in early childhood education and care (ECEC): center-based, school-based, and family child care program administrators, program coordinators, technical assistance specialists, advocates, researchers, and more.



This year’s conference theme is "Onward!” Learn actionable tips, strategies, and insights on how to navigate “rough seas” during uncertain times, while supporting “smooth sailing” as ECEC leaders.



Our commitment to family child care professionals and Spanish-speakers continues. The 2026 conference will feature a Family Child Care track, with specialized sessions designed for those seeking to enhance their businesses and leadership skills in the family child care home setting. Several Leadership Connections conference workshop sessions will be offered in Spanish. **This is a external event, not hosted by NICCA
