About the Event

The Strength of Our Children, The Future of Our Nations

NICCA’s 2026 National Tribal Child Care Conference will take place in Honolulu, Hawaiʻi from September 14–17, 2026, with pre-conference trainings on September 13. This event brings together Tribal child care leaders, early childhood professionals, and advocates from across the country to connect, learn, and lead together.

NICCA is honored to partner with Keiki O Ka ʻĀina to co-host the event and facilitate site visits to Native Hawaiian child care programs, offering a unique opportunity to experience early learning through an Indigenous lens in Hawaiʻi.

Whether you’re a program administrator, educator, policy leader, advocate, or Tribal leader, this conference is for you. Come be part of this important conversation, and help shape the future of Tribal child care and early learning.
