The series will consist of:

Part 1: CARES, CRRSA, and More! Exploring how to serve with COVID-stimulus funding – May 12 In Part 1 of this series, we will look at the requirements, flexibilities, and restrictions in the CARES funding (May 2020), the CRRSA funding (February 2021), and the ARPA funding (May 2021). All three of these funding streams have slightly different requirements, must be tracked separately, and have different timelines for allocating and using. This webinar will give you some of this core information for planning your responses and pointing your program response to meeting needs. REGISTER >>

Part 2: Building child care capacity: Sharing ideas for using your stimulus funding – May 19 Tribes and states across the country are actively pursuing opportunities to support their children, families, and child care networks. In this session, we will look at how some states and tribes across the country are doing it. REGISTER >>

Part 3: Building child care capacity: Rejuvenating child care and early learning systems – May 26 This time presents us with great opportunity to rejuvenate our communities and truly look at how to address the child care and early learning needs of our families and children. In this session, we will explore how community planning can be used to build a stronger early care and education system for your Tribe. REGISTER >>

Part 4: Building child care capacity: How infrastructure development can add address challenges – June 2 One of the flexibilities provided for Tribal programs is the opportunity to address limited infrastructure in child care programs. Tribes can explore the need for child care facilities in their communities to address the health requirements of social distancing and limited numbers in classrooms as well as the impact of the loss of child care options in their communities. In this session, we will explore how you can leverage your stimulus funding for construction, other infrastructure development, and/or preventative maintenance. REGISTER >>
