OCC oversees and assists the efforts of states, territories, and Tribes that administer the Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF) program. The CCDF program is a multibillion-dollar initiative that provides child care assistance to low-income working families and increases the availability and quality of child care and development services. The incumbent in this position will serve as a Child Care Program Specialist responsible for conducting a variety of activities and projects for the administration of the CCDF program.

As a Senior Tribal Child Care Program Specialist, you will use your knowledge of and experience with ACF to optimize business results and customer experiences by:

  • Preparing and presenting briefings and trainings on Tribal child care issues and concerns to OCC staff members, supervisors, agency officials, and grantees, as appropriate

  • Providing leadership, oversight, and guidance on programmatic operations and activities related to Tribal child care programs

  • Performing a wide range of technical analysis activities, including providing Tribal child care efficacy and technical assistance needs.
