OCC oversees and assists the efforts of states, territories, and Tribes that administer the Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF) program. The CCDF program is a multibillion-dollar initiative that provides child care assistance to low-income working families and increases the availability and quality of child care and development services. The incumbent in this position will serve as a Child Care Program Specialist responsible for conducting a variety of activities and projects for the administration of the CCDF program.
As a Senior Tribal Child Care Program Specialist, you will use your knowledge of and experience with ACF to optimize business results and customer experiences by:
Preparing and presenting briefings and trainings on Tribal child care issues and concerns to OCC staff members, supervisors, agency officials, and grantees, as appropriate
Providing leadership, oversight, and guidance on programmatic operations and activities related to Tribal child care programs
Performing a wide range of technical analysis activities, including providing Tribal child care efficacy and technical assistance needs.
