Make your voice heard!
The National Indian Child Care Association is soliciting feedback from Tribal CCDF Grantees on several topics: (1) the Notice for Proposed Rulemaking; (2) Tribal CCDF Training and Technical Assistance; and (3) the Tribal Plan PrePrint. Learn how to provide your comments and make your voice heard below.
Your voice and input is very important -- it could be many years before CCDF is reauthorized and these regulations will be in place until then.
(1) Comment on the Notice for Proposed Rulemaking
The Administration for Children and Families developed new regulatory requirements for the implementation of the CCDF and are seeking comments to finalize these requirements. NICCA is collecting and synthesizing comments as a representative organization of Tribal CCDF Grantees. On January 29, NICCA held a Webinar to solicit feedback. The Webinar provided a lot of information, you can contact us or your Regional OCC representative with any questions.

(2) Provide Feedback on Training and Technical Assistance Needs for Tribal CCDF
NICCA has been asked to provide input on the Tribal CCDF Training and Technical Assistance (T/TA) contract that provides trainings, conferences, site visits, pamphlets, etc. to Tribal CCDF programs across the country. You can provide your comment by completing our survey (TTA Survey linked here) by Friday, February 5, 2016.
(3) Comment on the Tribal CCDF Plan PrePrint
The Office of Child Care has the First Notice of the Proposed Information Collection Activity and Comment Request regarding the fiscal year (FY) 2017–2019 Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF) Plan Preprint for Tribes. NICCA will be holding a Webinar to collect comments from Tribal CCDF Grantees in the coming weeks. Follow us on Facebook or check back on NICCA News for the announcement of the Webinar.
