OCC oversees and assists the efforts of states, territories, and Tribes that administer the Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF) program. The CCDF program is a multibillion-dollar initiative that provides child care assistance to low-income working families and increases the availability and quality of child care and development services. The incumbent in this position will serve as a Child Care Program Specialist responsible for conducting a variety of activities and projects for the administration of the CCDF program.


As a Child Care Program Specialist, you will use your knowledge of and experience with ACF to optimize business results and customer experiences by:

  • Serving as a primary contact for state, territory, and/or Tribal CCDF lead agencies

  • Developing, collecting, maintaining, and disseminating information essential to child care programs under OCC’s auspices

  • Evaluating and assessing grantees’ compliance with CCDF program requirements and performance in the fulfilment of objectives

  • Providing guidance on CCDF policy, program implementation, and technical assistance issues.
